Day 23 Stats
Now we have 6 days left in our 30 day commitment to pray! These are the stats for yesterday, day 23: we had 21 people check the box out of 76 committed to pray.
Pray with Nate Brewster...
Life is crazy! It is busy and hectic and stressful!! It is REALLY easy to get side tracked and distracted. It’s REALLY easy to lose track of what is important. We can very easily begin chasing things that are momentary and worldly.
I notice this in my own life. My desire is to seek and follow God with everything that am, but it is really easy – if I’m not careful – for my spiritual life to become an afterthought after a long day. I notice when I start to slack off from my quiet times with God, or my time in prayer, that my attitude and actions become a direct reflection of time not well spent. What flows out of us is a direct reflection of what flows into us.
It is SO important that we spend time in prayer. Time to praise Him and to glorify Him in our lives, but also to allow Him to direct us in our lives. Allowing Him the opportunity to pour into us, so that in turn, we can pour out into other people.
Ask God to examine your heart today. Psalms 139:23-24 says:
“Search me, O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts! And see if there be any grievous way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting!”
Ask God to reveal anything in your heart and soul that may be holding you back from Him! As many have said leading up to this post, “we are praying to a God that wants to have a relationship with us!”
Let’s do everything we can as the body of Christ to set aside anything holding us back from Him so that we may lift each other up as an outpouring of the things that God is doing in us!
