Where to find what you’re looking for
All our information about upcoming events, announcements, and ways to get involved are available in our Church App and on our website. We’ve added our entire weekly bulletin in the app. Tap on “Bulletin” and go to the Announcement section to view upcoming events and announcements with quick links to register, contact event organizers, and other ways to get involved. Content in this section gets updated regularly throughout the week.
A push notification is a message that gets sent to you from the app. It notifies you of event updates, daily sermon series homework, and special announcements. For major changes like cancelations to events, we’ll send a push notification to inform you. Tap on “More” at the bottom right of the app, then go to “Notification Categories” to view the categories you can enable or disable.
Upon receiving the survey back from many in our congregation, we’ve made a simple way to listen to the most recent messages in our current series. On a tablet, go to “This Week” at the very top left (phones will view this section automatically upon opening the app). Just under the “I’m New” section is the “Current Series” section. Tap to view the menu to listen to the most recent message and see information about the series and upcoming message next Sunday. All Sunday messages get uploaded on Mondays and Tuesdays.
What’s Happening With The E-news
So there are a lot of changes coming to the e-newsletter because we’ve discovered that the best way to stay connected and see details concerning events and announcements is though our app.
A majority of event information and announcements are being moved out of the e-newsletter because of the easy access made available in the app and our website. So from now on, the E-newsletter will focus on more “e-newsletter” type content instead. From time to time, we’ll still highlight special announcements, events, and ways to get involved. We’ll also continue to include links to take you to our website for events and other important information.
The e-newsletter will start being sent out twice a month instead of weekly.
Our Goal for the E-newsletter
We want to use the e-newsletter as an additional method of encouragement instead of just another avenue for announcements and events. Our staff will be posting thoughts, lessons learned, and spiritual challenges to help us all grow in our relationship with God. We’re hoping that this change will allow us to minister to you and your family in one more relevant way.
