Two Friends Appreciate the Pantry Help
Taken from HPHH April 2014 Newsletter
Gail and Ada usually come to the pantry together, mainly because Ada is unable to drive due to an eye condition. They formerly worked together in Ellicott and are best friends, and each is very thankful for the difference the pantry makes in their families’ lives.
Ada lives mainly on Social Security, and she said that by the time she pays her various bills there is little left over for food. So the food from the pantry makes a real difference for her.
Gail said much the same thing as far as making her budget stretch. She and Ada both mentioned how much they appreciate being prayed with each time they come and the difference those prayer make in their lives. Gail has multiple sclerosis and so can’t work outside the home. From the pantry, she is able to get items she would not normally be able to buy herself.
Both women readily say they are very thankful for the pantry! And HPHH is so very grateful our donors who make it possible!
Just wanted you to know that you make a difference when you donate!
